This section of Wandering the World is about my means of travel other than Boats, and destinations other than those that landed in Nature. I have taken many road trips, both in the US and internationally. Some have been to explore a particular area, others to get to a specific destination. For some, like those in the UK, the driving itself was an adventure. As a kid and adult, my family drove to go camping, either in the mountains or Minnesota Northwoods. The trains in Europe are a great way to get to a destination, but I have explored most of Europe by car, experiencing quaint small towns and out of the way historic sites not easily reached by public transportation. I have many great photos of these adventures that I will post here.
