In Wandering the World, the chapter on People and Culture comes the closest to a standard travel book. I organized it first by countries that I love, where both the people and the culture of the country are positive and fascinating. But even then, I am not recommending museums to visit or places to stay, but giving my impression and experiences while there. I also describe countries with amazing culture and welcoming and cordial people, but with significant problems, sometimes historical, that still pervade today. And there are third-world countries I have visited whose problems overwhelm the positives for residents and visitors alike. So in addition to countries by name, I also have sections on Garbage and Food, aspects that left lasting impressions. I plan to share many more insights through photos in this section of the blog.
